Global university rankings have become a benchmark for quality in the higher education system, constituting a relevant factor in determining institutional policies and strategies. They are methodological constructions that meet different criteria with which the comparison between institutions is sought to be homogeneous and according to the weightings that the ranking considers, categorizes measurement results and orders the positions of the universities. They can be considered as an expression of the management of the internationalization of university extension. The results of the strategy developed at the José Antonio Echeverría Technological University of Havana, Cujae, are shown in the 4 main international rankings that have indicators more adjusted to the Latin American reality, the SCImago Institutions Rankings, the Web Ranking of Universities, the Ranking Transparent and the QS Ranking.
The results of visibility and recognition of the Cujae in scientific network sites for dissemination and exchange widely used in the world such as Google Scholar and Researchgate and its interrelation with the previous rankings are also analyzed.
