Use of a business management tool oriented towards adding value based on external and internal relationships. Case study of a company in the agricultural sector of Manabí, Ecuador

Abstract
The following investigation is carried out in an Ecuadorian company, located in the
Manabí region that implements the mission of dedicating itself to the cultivation and
commercialization of agricultural products, where the experience, service and human
quality of its team guarantees clients, optimizing the quality of their crops, becoming a true alternative for clients to be field entrepreneurs. The general objective of this article
is to illustrate the use of a business management tool aimed at adding value from the
study of external and internal relations of companies that contributes to the strategic
diagnosis of the company. The use of the integration tool of the management system of
the company allowed to identify as main threats: Climate changes that affect the supply
of the water service for the plantation and the disproportionate increase in the cost of
fuel. The main opportunities are related as: the existence of a high knowledge of the
Technical University of Manabí in the agricultural specialties and the national project of
training in the area of agriculture in the area of Rocafuerte (Manabí -
Ecuador). The strengths of the company are focused on: The Management capacity and
the attractiveness of the salary system and the main weaknesses of the company are
focused on: Deficient management of raw materials and inputs for productive support
and deficient management of raw materials and inputs for the productive support.
