Hydrolysis of strong and poorl y soluble salts in aqueous solutions
e449
Abstract
This paper analyzes the solubility of salts in aqueous solution, which is of great importance in technological processes in the pharmaceutical, chemical, metallurgical, and other industries. This diversity of processes or technologies requires mastery of concepts, laws, and methods to characterize the physical and chemical transformations that occur in the formation of solutions from strong and poorly soluble salts, both in scientific research and in applications to increase process efficiency. The objective is to analyze the mathematical models that indicate the influence of pH on the hydrolysis of these strong and poorly soluble salts and to propose modifications to the methodology for the physicochemical characterization of hydrolysis.
