Abstract

A socially responsible company not only provides high-quality goods and services but also generates economic benefits, creates employment, fulfills its tax obligations, and channels its creativity to identify community issues and propose effective solutions. In this context, the present study aimed to develop a methodological proposal and an evaluation model for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plan, oriented toward its implementation in the livestock area of the company Reylácteos.

To achieve this objective, it was necessary to theoretically and empirically substantiate the study variables, as well as to identify the official standards that regulate CSR plans in Ecuador. The research was developed using a mixed-method approach and was framed within an experimental design, in which the variables were subjected to rigorous statistical analyses. As data collection techniques, a survey was applied to Reylácteos employees, complemented by a semi-structured interview conducted with company executives in order to obtain a comprehensive view of the organizational reality.}

The processing and analysis of the data were carried out using the SPSS statistical software, along with dynamic tables generated in Microsoft Excel. The population studied was finite and quantitative, consisting of 220 individuals, from which a representative sample of 140 participants was selected to take part in the survey process.

The results obtained enabled the design of a CSR plan evaluation model tailored to the needs of the livestock area of Reylácteos, based on the measurement of organizational performance indicators. It is concluded that the company needs to formally establish a comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility plan and integrate it into its organizational strategy, given that 48.6% of the employees do not perceive its existence. It is essential to promote continuous training processes in sustainability and to carry out regular evaluations to monitor the impact of implemented policies and optimize actions in areas such as inclusion and safety. These practices are crucial to strengthening sustainable development and community well-being.
