Abstract

Energy management in organizations not only guarantee the energy resources necessary to meet the objectives set, but also contributes to using them efficiently. Through this, it is also revealed how the organization fulfills its social responsibility. Hence the importance of having a tool to measure the level of maturity of energy management. For all of the above, the objective of this work is to develop a methodology to assess the level of maturity of energy management in the organization. It is made up of five steps. In the first, the specialists are selected, in the second the diagnosis is made, in the third the level of maturity of the organization's energy management is classified, in the fourth an action plan is proposed and in the fifth the compliance of the plan is evaluated. of action. The evaluation process is systematic, which allows periodic re-qualification of the level of maturity, this constitutes a feedback loop. It also allows evaluating the performance of the organization's energy management and energy benchmarking. For the theoretical evaluation, the Iadov technique was used, and the practice was applied at the National Center of Applied Electromagnetism. The first obtained a score of 0.9, which confirms the validity and applicability of the methodology. The practical application showed that it is at level 4, out of five possible.
