Simulación con termodependencia y sin esta de la zona afectada térmicamente de una unión soldada

Abstract
The failure of the welded joints commonly occurs in the heat affected zone, which is why it is considered a metallurgical notch. This work deals with the influence of the thermal dependency of the properties of AISI 1015 steel on the dimensions of the heat affected zone in butt-welded joints. To evaluate this influence, a geometric model elaborated in the SolidWorks 2016 software is proposed, while the Simulation complement is used to determine the position of the isotherms that define the size of the heat affected zone. Through the use of temperature curves, the thermo-dependent properties are defined. Transient thermal studies were carried out for the movement of the electrode and the joint cooling, considering that there is or not thermal dependency of the properties. The dimensions of the heat affected zone were compared for both results. There are differences between the position of the different isotherms when the thermal dependency of the physical and mechanical properties is considered or not.
