Abstract
Business risk management is recognized as an integral part of good management practices, in which risks are related to the strategic planning process, which is usually linked to determining the vision, mission and the main objectives of a company. This work shows the development of a business risk management procedure in different Cuban companies with the aim of integrating their management system. In order to achieve this objective, a study was carried out where the DE-ARISDE model was used and the application of a risk management procedure. The main risk of the 11 companies under study was identified and various management strategies were projected to improve organizational performance. The main results obtained are the survey of 251 risks, 736 causes of risks and 96 main risks in the 11 companies.
