Generation of optimal operation regimes of methodical reheating furnaces
Abstract
In the present work the state of the art of the problem of the automate optimization, in real time, of energy consumption of the billets reheating process in steel making industry, theoretical basis of the generation of optimal heating of the steel in methodical furnaces technologies are presented. As a part of the mathematical model for describing the process, a group of approximation models to the corresponding functions given by charts, graphics or monograms are used. The prosecution of each solution of the optimization algorithm includes the calculations of the heating of the steel process and of the thermal balance corresponding to every solution. In quality of optimization algorithm a variant of the Exploration in a Net of Variables Method is used. The final temperature of the heating at the exit of the furnace and the difference of temperatures between the surface and center of the metal are restricted and the objective function is penalized for the nonfulfillment of the restrictions. As an appropriate result for the automate optimization in real time of the process behavior, rules are obtained.
