Obtención de andamios de colágeno de crestas de pollo y piel de cerdo para la reparación del sistema cardiovascular
Abstract
In the present work, collagen scaffolds were obtained by the lyophilization method, using chicken ridges and pig skin as source of origin. This process was carried out in molds to obtain the required shape and dimensions of the scaffolds. The characterizations were carried out using the SDS page acrylamide gel electrophoresis techniques and Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), checking the presence of type I collagen in all cases. In addition, a stereoscopic analysis was made where it was observed that the scaffolds have a fibrous surface morphology packed in a compact way and with random orientation and interconnected pores. The characterizations showed that both the collagen and the scaffolds comply with the composition and morphology required to be used as a biomaterial in tissue regeneration.
